This website was initiated by me of my own personal initiative as a form to express my own personal views on matters dealing with religion, politics, celebrity idols, favourite music genres, literature and poetry, personal life, college, work and Catholic devotions and prayers, among other like matters of personal interest.
What I do intend to do in this website is to discuss these aforementioned matters from my own personal perspective, i.e., in light of my own personal opinions. It is my personal intent to use this website as a personal “hobby,” a means of writing my personal views and expressing my personal “gut feeling” on the matters I plan to discuss.
I do not hereby claim to speak on behalf of any individual or organization I discuss herein, nor do I claim to speak on behalf of any individuals or organizations I may be affiliated with. My personal views are not necessarily representative of any political party, educational institution, public figure, or any like individual or organization. Furthermore, this website is not necessarily representative of the views of my family, co-workers, classmates, or any other colleagues in any way connected to me. I do not intend to speak as a representative of any such individual or organization, nor do I intend to represent my personal views as being representative of any individual or organization, including but not limited to those I may be affiliated with, or those I may discuss within this website.
Additionally, I hereby make the following statements:
1. Although I do not “officially” speak for the Roman Catholic Church (in that I am not a clergyman, diocesan or parish employee, Catholic news agent, etc.), all my writings about the Church will remain in line with orthodox Catholic doctrine, from which I will not in the least deviate.
2. Although I do not officially speak for Laredo Community College, I will at times discuss the College, while refusing to speak negatively about any individual or organization in any way related to the College, nor will I disclose any personal information relating to the aforementioned College, its employees, or organizations.
3. If ever I do misrepresent any individual, organization, or the teachings of the Church or any other religious institution, it should hereby be noted that I will immediately retract and correct my errors, and that such misrepresentations are unintentional given that although these articles normally tend to be brief and informal, I do tend to do my research before making any public statements.

The Purpose of the ‘Disclaimer’
What is the purpose of the Disclaimer that I posted in my website?
The reason is clear and simple: at times, I tend to post personal views and experiences which at times have been known to cause disagreement and even controversy. Sometimes my personal views may not be so controversial in their own right, but because some are defensive of their views and a bit sensitive (both issues which are not always necessarily wrong), my views have been known to cause offence to others.
By writing the Disclaimer I have posted in my website, I am saying that the articles in my personal website reflect my views exclusively and are not necessarily representative in any way (unless otherwise noted) of my friends, family, college or office, or any other individuals or organizations I may in any way be affiliated with.
While many will disagree at times with my personal views on politics, the quality and meaning of poems and short stories which I will occasionally critique, and other matters of similar interest, I do not believe that such should necessarily serve as a basis for division and resentment. I am sure we can all find common ground and we can all logically and peacefully discuss our views, without having to insult each other in the process of doing so.
